10:10 pm - Things are changing, but everything's still kinda the same

So it has been one year since my dad died..one year ago yesterday. It is so weird though, because it is as clear in my mind as the day it happened, and I feel like I just saw him yesterday. And I still miss you just as much...
In other news, I got a job with Club Med and will be moving to Cancun on Sunday. They pay for my flight, I live at the hotel, and I get three meals a day. I will be greeting guests upon arrival/departure, answering questions, hanging out with all the guests basically.. I get to live right on the white sand beach, and I get full access to everything in the resort (scuba diving, water skiing, etc.)and, it's Cancun. So, it works out pretty well.
Anyway, wish me luck...I'll try to keep this thing updated every now and then.

So tomorrow is my 18th birthday and I couldn't be more excited.
The past week has been an amazing one.
Friday: Spent all day at the horse races, and didn't win a penny. Then massages and dinner!
Saturday: Went to my birthday dinner
and the hot waiter gave me his number!
Got great presents from my family including GWEN STEFANI TICKETS, lots of jewelry, lotion, jeans, a trip anywhere in the U.S. and a trip anywhere in the WORLD, just to name a few.. Grandma spent the night and her, my mom and I stayed up real late acting ridiculous.
Sunday: Spent all day at the Renaissance festival where I fell even deeper in love with pirates..
P.S. that was a real, kill you with one jab kind of sword..
Here's what's to come:
Monday: Off to Las Vegas until Thursday, March 8th.
Friday (March 9th): Work all day at the Massage Envy booth at a fair.
March 10th-13th: Mexico with Kortnee, Adam and Chris!!!
March 15th-26th: Spend three days in Miami before leaving on a week long cruise.
Yes, life truly is perfect. My only wish is that you could be here with me to see me pass into adulthood, but I know you're with me wherever I go and in everything I do, and I'm okay with that.

5:48 pm - I'm back in Arizona

Well I arrived back in Phoenix Friday, the 22nd. I was absolutely gutted to leave Bristol, and I cried all the way to the airport after leaving my friends. I have never missed any friends as much as I miss them..
Although I'm happy to be 'home', I still don't really know how I feel. I am glad to be with my family and spend Christmas with them, but on the other hand I feel like I should be back in Bristol..oh well.
I had such an amazing time, though, the past four months, it has been truly increcible. I couldn't be happier about the past, present, and future. I am excited for the new year, and if anyone would like to meet up, let me know : ]
